One of my students in my writing class back at adult high school used to kill ducks for a living. I made him tell me all about it, because I found it so horrifying and weird. I had no idea duck meat was so popular on the West Coast.
But um...I'm sure these ducks aren't going to be killed or anything. I'm sure they're being bred only to float around in parks.
Uh, actually I think this little scene has something to do with a bird flu outbreak and, well...I doubt that bodes well for these cute little guys.
